A house left abandon will deteriorate. A farm without a farmer will over grow. Maintaining the status quo is a myth for even a farmer knows to rotate crops in order to preserve the productive capacity of the land. Accepting change is a characteristic any person, especially leaders, must embrace.
When we refuse change – whether it’s personal growth or a situation in life – we begin to decay. This too is change.
Routines and discipline are to be as guard rails and painted road stripes on the highway we travel to success. We need them to get to our destinations, but they are never to be used to create enclosures to prevent us from moving forward or growing. We should be moving towards something in every area of life.
